Manitoba Pork Council highly recommends the welfare practices covered in the Code of Practice For the Care and Handling of Farm Animals that were developed by the Canadian Agri-Food Research Council. The codes of practice were written to encourage all persons involved with livestock to practice and promote sound animal care.
