Ambassador Program

Pork Proud Be a Pork Ambassador - Be Pork Proud

Why be Pork Proud?

Because the farmer is seen as the most credible source for agricultural information - 1,400 pork producers in Manitoba are well positioned in their communities to provide positive and accurate facts about our dynamic industry to individuals and groups.

Manitoba Pork Council's Pork Ambassador program is available to farmers, barn workers, office staff and industry personnel. The program is designed to equip people involved in the hog industry with the information and tools to tell, in a credible and effective manner, the success of Manitoba's hog industry.

Training in this program involves half-day workshops in local communities. A key segment of the workshop is structured around a presentation on Getting the Message Out. Participants will receive a complete kit of information to help them be a good Pork Ambassador in their local communities.

If you are interested in attending or organizing a Pork Ambassador session in your area, please contact: Manitoba Pork Council by or by phone at (204) 237-7447.
