Recognizing Excellence
Manitoba Pork Council's Swine Stewardship Awards Program honours the people who make Manitoba's pork industry among the most progressive in the world. The program acknowledges the accomplishments of individuals and organizations, within private and public sectors, for contributing to the sustained growth and prosperity of Manitoba's pork industry.
The Awards Program
The Awards Program recognizes the innovation and hard work going on in today's pork industry. Just about everyone working in or around the industry is eligible to be nominated. That includes producers, researchers, extension workers, educators, farm managers or other industry stakeholders. Nomination forms are available through Manitoba Pork and recipients may be nominated in more than one category. A panel of judges selected by Manitoba Pork Council reviews nominations. Winners receive awards at the annual general meeting in April.
