Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Industrial Electrician reporting to the Electrician Supervisor, located in the community of Neepawa, MB.
Your days will include:
• Install, maintain, test, troubleshoot, and repair low and medium voltage distribution systems (single and three phase systems), power distribution and generation (generators, transformers, switchgears, breakers), HVAC, emergency systems (boilers, refrigeration, energy control, alarm)
• Working with electrical equipment (AC Drives, power control circuits, starters, MCC's, motors), Microprocessor based systems (PLCs, Electronic circuits, controls), and Instrumentation (pneumatic controls, PID, transducers, servos, analog/digital signals)
• Conduct Planned Preventative and Predictive Maintenance and keep maintenance records
• Recommend and implement corrective action and repairs
• Assist in planning and organizing work activities (drawing interpretation, parts preparation)
• Understand and adhere to all plant Safety Polices
To succeed in this role, you possess:
• Red Seal Trades Certification required as well as electrical, instrumentation, automation, pneumatics experience
• Weigh Scales, HMI, Allen Bradley PLC, VFD, Servomotors, Profibus/Ethernet Network Communications experience essential
• Conscious of workplace hazards, safety is a priority for you
• Ability to make decisions, solve problems, troubleshoot, and multi-task
• Ability to work independently and in a multifunctional team
• Strong oral and written English communication skills
• Available to work in shift rotation and weekends
• May be required to bend, lift and climb while wearing the appropriate equipment
• Working in various environments and exposure to chemicals
