Your days will include:

• Responsible for data collection, data entry, and reporting for various Health and Safety programs
• Support the Health & Safety Department with Health & Safety monitoring activities
• Assist with audit and inspection for emergency and equipment plans, MSDS
• Issue and ensure workplace health and safety corrective actions are completed
• Participate in meetings and take minutes
• Develop and facilitate new job hazard analysis and safe work procedures
• Represent the company by projecting a proud, positive, professional and respectful attitude toward Health and Safety initiatives

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Post-secondary education, an asset
• General knowledge base of Provincial OH&S legislation and regulations and assessment and industry best practices
• Strong work ethic, high level of enthusiasm, and ability to excel in a flexible, fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently
