Your days will include:

• Investigating, tracking, maintaining, and reporting incidents and near-miss data to identify and analyze trends
• Developing and reviewing account-specific processes and procedures to reduce H&S risks and improve performances including Safe Work Procedures and Job Hazard Analysis
• Presenting and updating Health & Safety onboarding for new hires
• Monitors compliance with all internal and external health and safety requirements
• Conducts weekly operations and equipment inspections, job observations; H&S audits and other types of reviews to monitor compliance to H&S requirements
• Communicating observations, non-compliance, and risks to stakeholders, and providing and implementing corrective and preventative measures
• Assisting in the development and deploys H&S communications

To succeed in this role, you must possess:

• Post-secondary in Health & Safety related program
• Working knowledge of Manitoba Safety Regulations, Laws, and Programs
• Experience developing and reviewing Safe Work Procedures and Job Hazard Analysis
• A collaborative and hands-on approach to safety
• Skillful and interested in problem-solving, working cross-departmental, & continuous improvement
• Proficiency in computers, specifically Excel and MS Office, Safety Chain
