Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Purchasing Officer, reporting to the Procurement Supervisor. This opportunity is located in the community of Neepawa, MB.

Your days will include:

• Purchasing of maintenance and production supplies items for Procurement stores
• Sourcing and purchasing of parts for maintenance work orders, ensuring high level of accuracy and timeliness
• Troubleshooting inventory shortages and recommend ways to adapt to changing needs of our customers
• Attend daily Maintenance stand up meetings, be point of contact for the two departments
• Lead projects as assigned by supervisor
• Store support and customer service for internal and external customers

To succeed in this role, you possess:

• College diploma or degree in Business Administration (an asset) and/or 3+ years of experience in Procurement
• Experience in purchasing and inventory management
• Proficient in Microsoft applications and email
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of ERP system
• Process and results oriented
• Analytical capabilities
