Payroll Analyst – (12-month term)

Our growing company is searching for top talent to join our team in the role of Payroll Analyst (12-month term), reporting to Sr Manager of Payroll & HRIS, located in the community of Neepawa or La Broquerie, MB. (currently remote)
Your days will include:
• Review and reconcile payroll remittances
• Payroll & GL reconciliation
• Create and monitor PO’s
• Process year-end and T4s/W2s
• Quarterly Bonus Administration
• Reconciles employee advances
• Work with the Accounting team to ensure all financials balance
• Union Vacation Rollover
• Admin Vacation & Banked OT Rollover
• Out of country CPP and IA remittance management
• Assist Payroll Manager with projects
• Create and Update SOP’s for all Analyst Processes
• Organize Pension Committee meetings and take meeting minutes
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
• A Certificate in Payroll or Business Admin – Finance or HR
• Knowledge of Employment Standards, Canada Revenue Agency, and Labour Relations and best practices
• Minimum 3 years payroll processing experience
• Accounting experience is preferred
• Able to manage projects with little supervision
• Demonstrates leadership skills
• Proficient in Excel and Word with excellent communication skills
