BREEDING/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN - ILE DES CHENES, MB

We are looking to hire a goal-oriented individual for a unique position in a 5,500-sow operation. Reporting to the site manager, you will be responsible for breeding gilts at our on-site quarantine barn and for providing support for maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting for the entire site. Rotational weekend work will be required.

This is a new role. The chosen individual will have a lot of flexibility in hours worked and the development of work responsibilities. Compensation will be above industry standard. We offer full benefits with a generous incentive plan. Training will be provided.

If you have hog barn experience and a talent for fixing things, we’d like to hear from you! Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada and have a valid Class 5 driver’s licence to apply.
