El Tigre, RF and Whitetails Farms, located near Niverville, MB, is seeking individuals for the above positions in our farrow to wean operations. Our private production farms generate a satisfactory class of weanling, and have been marketed in the U.S. for a number of years. We currently have available positions for animal care technicians.
Job Requirements:
* 1 to 3 years experience in the hog production industry
* good work ethic and communication skills
* team player
* works well under pressure
* possess a valid driver's license
* rotational weekend work
Responsibilities:
* follow vaccination program and herd health for all animals including piglets
* accurate record keeping
* following bio-security protocols
* maintaining environment standards
* essential care of animals including feed and water
* processing of litters
* prepping/washing and general maintenance of the barn
Wage: $16.50 to $18.00 depending on experience (full time or part time)
